If you were me, what would you do with a bottle of red wine?

Keeping in mind that, as me, you don't in fact like to drink wine. But cooking with it is good.

Last night we put some (also some soy sauce) on a stir fry made with tofu, broccoli, onions, and mushrooms. It was pretty tasty. Also, it turned the tofu purple.

I like adding it to stews and soups. It's also good as part of a fruit syrup/sauce for pancakes, cakes, etc.

If I feel like drinking it in a not-as-much-a-wine sense, I make a sort-of-sangria by sticking it in a pitcher with a lot of frozen fruit and some cinnamon and assorted spices. Let it sit long enough that the fruit melts a bit and thus waters down the wine with fruit juice and the fruit absorbs out some of the alcohol content.

If you still have that wine, or ever have this problem again, feel free to borrow my suctioning vacuum-cork device. Then the rest will stay good for more cooking later, after you use only-a-little for cooking when you open. Since the usual solution to this problem doesn't suit you.

I should fix the part where facebook gives you that much information.

Besides, fixing Facebook might keep information from other random strangers, but in my case, it seems to be too late.
