pseudoscience and scientists

So, I'm doing research for my paper (gasp!) and it's making me sad again. Unsurprisingly. For a person who's very skeptical about things that I don't think are scientific, I seem to be quite skeptical about science, too. All along I thought it was just that I believed in science, and not the other things, but this class... this class seems determined to show me otherwise.
