Having cramps lowers my cold tolerance like whoa. Today I was waiting for the bus (a few times) and it was like 40° out, and I was wearing two skirts (one knit wool, both ankle length) threes shirts, a coat, hat, and gloves, and I was so cold. Buh! I've spent a lot of time today fully clothed and under the covers of some bed.
And the rest of it by the stove. I canned squash! I have canned squash now! woo! (Unless something drastic happened in the canner, which I am not yet actually allowed to open. But I have never yet had anything not seal in any method of canning, much less after pressure-canning it for an hour and a half. Indeed, sometimes things seal when I just fill a jar with hot food and put the lid on. And then I still put the jar in the fridge when it cools, of course.) Also Cedar sharpened the knives, which was lovely and a big help to the squash canning process. Mostly, to the squash-cutting-up process.
