(no subject)

+ I have an office with windows! And a desk separate from (ie, not attached to, not far away from) the other desks! Hopefully not the desk with the microwave on it. I should move some stuff into the room so I can get the desk I want (of the two unoccupied.)

- Bad cat was bad this morning. Now I have some serious laundry to do.

+ Swing dancing tonight! (Hasn't happened, but it better be a "+".)

+ Katie is in town! We're hanging out a bunch before classes start, because it will probably be hard later. She lives an hour and a half away.

- Prelims are scary.

+ Group studying makes them less so.

+ I know the method of complex integration now!

! I'm supposed to be teaching integral calculus this term. Pretending I believe memorizing tables of integrals is worthwhile (or even all that feasible? did I ever manage that?) will employ my long dormant acting skills? Maybe I will start remembering how to take integrals this time.

- Between terms I have to buy my own transit pass. I'm spoiled and whiny.

+ Georgette Heyer is hilarious. Though she seems to use "sensible" in both the modern and the Regency sense, which gets confusing.
