No more REU...

I will post a link to my paper when I have it so that you all may look at the pretty pictures. I do not really recommend attempting to read the text, but you can if you want.

(At the moment, however, the paper is still a little wacked out because some of the pictures were stuck on a non-functional storage drive at Oregon State when I left. My advisor was going to rescue them, though.)

In the Portland Airport I bought a book of ballads-reinterpreted-as-comics by one of the Sandman illustrators and such authors as Neil Gaiman and Charles de Lint. A Mark F. Heiman of Loomis House was quoted in the introduction. (And it has the one with Eleanor and Thomas and the Brown Girl, which is my absolute favorite.)

I got about six hours of sleep last night in spurts no longer than three hours. I also took the first! light rail train to run from the airport downtown this morning. Conveniently Hazel has gone to a party, so she cannot try to keep me up.

I also made vegan rice krispie treats today, which was exciting. I like sugar.
