I have been brave, today, in my communication with people. Yesterday too, in interaction.
It's a step, learning to listen at least to the voice that wants me to take the risk of contacting people, and asking questions. It's easier in many ways for me to be brave with people in the room, because of course physical closeness is so easy to equate with emotional closeness, with safety in taking risks, in speaking out loud. It's a step, really, to initiate or participate in initiating anything that isn't completely safe, normal, within the script.
They're steps I'm happy to have been taking, this weekend. Hopefully I'll keep taking them.
