Why, exactly, are all bugs stomach bugs for me?

And also, why do people think that science can't be wrong? Isn't that the whole point of requiring that hypotheses and theories be testable, is so that you or other people can show that they're wrong? Just how much science education is required to get people to figure this out?

People's views of science as always right are painfully like their idea that humans are the end goal of evolution. Stupid and annoying and unfounded, but somehow understandable and tempting. Silly human nature.
